Rio de Janeiro · DINNER EXPERIENCES
This is the shortlist you would send a friend: 4 dinner nights worth the money, each with its price, its traveller verdict and the one thing to know before you commit.
You’ll see Brazilian dance and music from the Northeast, Amazon, Bahia, and Rio, with capoeira and samba at the center. Choose show-only or add a churrascaria dinner. English, Spanish, and Portuguese guides are available, with optional hotel pickup and return.
“Muy lindo show. Variado en estilo de danzas y muy buena vestimenta.”
Spend four hours at Rio’s Roxy nightclub in Copacabana, starting with a three-course dinner by chef Danilo Parah and Bossa Nova from the Roxy Band. Then watch Aquele Abraço, a colorful production mixing Samba, Funk, Forró, MPB, poetry, projections, and dance. Hotel pickup and return are included.
“Buen show. Deliciosa cena. Muchos bailarines y buenos cantantes pero cantar canciones a estilo pop y bailes como actuales no me gustó. como que esperaba algo más tracional o de bailes típicos Pero en general recomendable”
Spend an evening in Rio with hotel pickup, a traditional churrascaria dinner, and fast-track entry to Rio Scenarium in Lapa. Expect three floors of antiques, live samba, forró, and MPB, with English, Spanish, or Portuguese guiding and a hotel return around 12:30 a.m.
“Our tour guide was lovely and the food was good, but this tour generally is not worth the money and was disappointing. I would recommend going to the restaurant and the scenarium on your own without a tour if you are interested. Uber is very accessible at all times of the day and night!”
Spend four hours at Rio’s historic Roxy in Copacabana, with a three-course dinner by chef Danilo Parah, Bossa Nova, and the *Aquele Abraço* show. Hotel pickup serves Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema, and Leblon, with English, Portuguese, and Spanish support.
Pick a summit, a hillside, a beach or a bar.
